Our Story
Founded in 2023 by coach Jack, LIFTD was built on the belief that strength training should be accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for everyone. What started as one-to-one coaching evolved into a supportive small group gym in the heart of Norwich — where real coaching, real community, and real progress come together. No egos, no mirrors — just high quality coaching that meets you where you're at and helps you move forward.

At LIFTD, our small group training is personal by design. Every session is tailored by qualified coaches who care about your progress. You’ll train with others, but always at your own pace, with guidance that fits your goals.

With nearly a decade of coaching experience, Jack founded LIFTD after years of 1-1 training. Seeing the impact of strength training, he set out to build a gym where real coaching, community, and support come first.
Coach for nearly two years, Lizzie blends strength and nutrition know‑how with genuine connection—sharing simple high‑protein recipes, studying women‑specific training (including menopause), and leading our women’s run club to keep members consistent and thriving.
Toby, a L3 qualified PT and our newest coach, brings a love of running, team sports, and training psychology to LIFTD. He leads our run clubs and helps members find joy in movement—making training feel good, not like a punishment.
